Astrid Schmitt-Stegmann

Astrid-Schmitt Stegmann, MA, has been a Waldorf Teacher Education Director for many years and in different countries, including Asia. She was a class teacher and a foreign language teacher, taking two classes to eighth grade as basis for her experience.She lectures, gives workshops, and consults and evaluates Waldorf Teachers. Her latest book is: 'The Uniqueness of Waldorf Education'.

Adam Dubignon

Prior to teaching, Adam worked extensively with music and management in performing arts and recording industry.  After undertaking Steiner/Waldorf education , he takes up the role as a class teacher, nurturing students all the way through middle school learning.  He specialises in subjects related to performing and creative arts.  He also initiates the class 8 project and camp.  He was the principal of Michael Park School in Auckland, New Zealand and currently the principal of Kelip Kelip Care Centre.

Tan Seow San
Eurythmist

Tan Seow San graduated from Eurythmy West Midlands, UK in 2016. She also obtained a Diploma in Eurythmy as Performing Art from Goetheanum in Dornach, Switzerland. Prior to her Eurythmy studies, she worked in childcare centre and preschool from 2004 to 2011 as she is also a diploma holder in Preschool Education.
Since graduating from Eurythmy West Midlands, she has facilitated different training programmes such as Waldorf Teacher Preparation in Malaysia and Anthroposophic HomeCare Training in China. In addition, she also worked periodically with children and adults in Waldorf schools in Malaysia and Shanghai.

Napat Chaisubunkanok

She started studying piano when she was 10 years old with Mrs. Pantipa Treepoonphol and Winida Chaisuktaksin (Treepoonphol) while attending Watana Wittaya Academy.  She was the pianist of the school choir.  She then attended Music Department, Faculty of Fine and Applied Art, Chulalongkorn Univerity, and graduated in the year 1991.

 

She had worked as a piano instructor since 1988 while being piano accompanist for voice students of Anuchid Music Studio.  She also performed as pianist for Menotti’s Opera, The Telephone. She was the announcer  of classical music program  for MCOT FM95 and was an executive Director of Kitara Music Institute. 

 

She started learning about Anthroposophy as pianist for Eurythmy from 2000 to 2005. She studied music therapy with Stephan Kühne, a German music instructor  and  therapist, and started working as music teacher at Tridhaksa School, which is a Waldorf School by teaching singing and Orchestra Ensemble .

 

Today, she works as music teacher at Tripat School and Music Therapist in Venita Clinic. She is also an invited lecturer for The Three Worlds Creator Co., Ltd. And    Therapeutikum,Thailand (Foundation Anthroposophical Art Therapy).

Lim Da Vid

Da Vid is the founder of Kelip-Kelip Waldorf School in Malaysia. In 1996, he graduated with Bachelor of Applied Science (Industrial Chemistry) from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He went on to earn a Master in Science (Environmental Science) from the same university in 1998. Armed with the qualifications, he worked as a water treatment engineer for 6 years.  A turn of events led him to a different path and he headed for Australia where he obtained Advance Diploma in Steiner Education from Melbourne Rudolf Steiner Seminar in 2006. He returned to Malaysia to establish Kelip-Kelip Kindergarten where he taught for 3 years. He then moved on to become Waldorf class teacher for the past 8 years. During those years, he also completed 3 years Extra Lesson training in Sydney-New Zealand. Da Vid is married and has three lovely children.

Teung Pee Hoi
Teacher Pee Hoi graduated from Taipei Physical Education College, Taiwan. She has been a sports instructor in an independent school for ten years before becoming a Games and Movement teacher in Waldorf Kelip-kelip School, Malaysia. In the meantime, she is attending training for professional Waldorf PE teachers overseas. She organizes weekend classes for children who enjoy games and movement. In the midst of fun and laughter, the children are actually learning to improve their flexibility, speed, agility, coordination, balance and accuracy besides social interaction and teamwork. Her classes are certainly very engaging.

Ina Jaehnig
Ina is a co-founder and long time teacher of the Denver Waldorf School, bringing decades of experience to her teaching in both elementary grades and high school. She earned her teaching Diploma from the Stuttgart. Academy of Arts. Her training in Waldorf teaching is from the Munich Waldorf School. In addition to serving as a core faculty member in the Summer Teacher Education Program at Rudolf Steiner College for many years, she has also been a guest teacher at the Teacher Training Program in Eugene, Oregon.

Erdmute  Foerster
Erdmute studied Eurythmy in the cities of Stuttgart and Munich in Germany as well as Florence in Italy. She earned her diploma from Goetheanum in Dornach , Switzerland, after which she studied the basics of music with Juergen Schriefer for a year. For the following 9 years, she was a member of a Eurythmy artist group as well as a trainer at the Eurythmy Academy Munich and in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Her work extended to curative eurythmy for children and physical diseases. She was also the leader of the "Ärtist Ensemble Perceval" for 18 years.
Her love for children and wish to grow with them  led her to Waldorf schools where she has grown to be an experienced Eurythmy teacher by teaching in kindergartens and Classes 1 to 12. She aspires to bring Eurythmy to children of other countries. Therefore, since 2010, together with Dr. C.M. Brandt who plays the flute, she has been teaching in Canada, Siberia, Russia, China and Malaysia. 

Biography Workshop Tutor

Dr. Med. Susanne Hofmeister

Dr. med. Susanne Hofmeister, born 1962, is a mother of 4 sons and trained in anthroposophical medicine and biography work.  She has her own pratice in Heidelberg, mainly focusing on life counselling and coaching. She lectures biography work and for many years continuing her education in biography work. In 2014, she published a book on biography work entitled “Where I Stand and Where We Go From Here Towards”, available in German, Mandarin and English.

Lisa Babinet, PhD 

Lisa earned a BA in Mathematics, MS in Mathematics Education and PhD in Science Education from the University of Pennsylvania, where she also taught graduate school. She has a master’s degree in Applied Psychology. She has taught mathematics in middle and high school for over three decades in independent schools on both coasts. Lisa has taught at Rudolf Steiner College and currently serves on the AWSNA Leadership Council as the Northern California Regional Representative. She is the parent of two lifelong Waldorf students and enjoys reading, hiking and crafting.
